The MB320 utilizes a 3'rd generation microbolometer imaging technology. The imager
produces high quality images without the
continuously moving parts found in second generation imagers. Our microbolometer
technology creates an image by focussing heat onto an arrangement of
microscopic picture elements (pixels) and converting this change in heat into an
electrical signal. These signals are processed by the internal camera electronics to form
an image which is displayed on the camera's screen.

Automatic brightness control is
accomplished via advanced digital signal processing
and is done without any moving parts or other mechanical systems. The imagery produced is
smooth and clear, without the choppiness and ghosting associated with the chopper wheel of
a second generation unit.

The superior sensitivity of the microbolometer
imager is increased by the use of our exclusive, patent pending iC technology and Ls
Software. iC technology provides stable imagery across a wide range of
ambient temperatures. If conditions demand it, the user can command the Image Clear unit
to perform a re-calibration with a single push button operation to further improve image quality in extremely stressful
conditions. iC technology combined with the Ls Software allows for direct
viewing of heat sources without ghosting or contrast loss like that found
in second generation imagers.

Waterproof, Shock Resistant ALL
metal chassis
Designed with the user in mind, only the Mb320-p is housed in an all metal multi-mode chassis ideal
general and harsh enviorments. Mb320-p reps
demonstrate this heat resistance by directing the flame
from a torch onto the exterior of the unit for 30 seconds
at a time, and then touch it with bare skin without injury.
The MB320-p high
visibility 4" screen from virtually any angle. The dual, side mounted
flame resistant carry straps allow the Mb320-p to
be operated by a left or right handed user.
Waterproof to over 3 feet, the Mb320-p
can be submerged for hours at a time with no leakage or
other degradation. The Mb320-p floats
with it's screen upward for easy identification and retrieval should it accidentally get
tossed overboard during a marine operation.
Shockproof and tested in accordance with MIL-STD-810, the Mb320-p
has been designed for rough handling and survivability.

Grab N' Go convenience
The Mb320-p thermal imaging camera
comes standard with a unique Grab 'N Go Storage/Charging
Rack. This rack can be wall, truck or case mounted (in the optional
carrying case) and powered from a 110 VAC power supply or an optional cigarette lighter
cord for the ultimate in portability and flexibility.
When installed onto the Grab 'N Go rack, the Mb320's
batteries are rapidly charged and provided with a trickle charge once fully topped up.
The batteries in the MB320 are mounted in
a removable front mounted battery pack. This battery pack comes standard with a single
battery for up to 1 hour of continuous operation,
or can accommodate dual batteries for up to 3 hours of run
time. An optional external battery charger and additional battery packs
are available to provide unlimited operational time
should conditions demand it.
