This shows the small size of the indicated images.  The distance between each line is .38mm or 380 microns.  Minimum resolvable elements can be much less than 100 micron down to a possible 10 micron depending on conditions.

With the SPI TIM (thermal imaging microscope), you can quickly evaluate thermal behavior of semiconductors, hybrid circuits and multi chip modules of incredibly small size. The SPI TIM (Thermal imaging Microscope) delivers the detailed resolution necessary to isolate thermal problems and verify reliability at the individual component level where thermocouples and temperature probes can't be used.
