The AN/PVS 14 high grade Green / White Phosphor night vision monocular is a proven performer that has scene battle around the world. This is the NVG that let us “own the night”. Compact in size the PVS14 is an almost perfect design that just feels so right in your hand. Subtle improvements have made the newest SPI PVS-14 models truly amazing. The incorporation of a single battery compartment reduces the need to carry extra batteries and makes night time battery change outs much simpler. Variable gain adjustment on the front of the PVS 14 lets you tailor the night vision tube to the conditions you are presented with. Of course the next generation intensifier tube supplied by SPI features auto gain control and protection, but sometimes mission profiles dictate that you decide on how to adjust your equipment. The AN/PVS 14 is a versatile night vision device. The unit is a great hand held night vision monocular that can easily be stowed in a pocket or worn around the neck with the included neck strap. With optional 3x and 5x telephoto extension lenses the 14 becomes a long range night vision spotting scope. Next, the 14 fits perfectly on standard issue head and helmet mounts for hands free night time viewing. Finally, the PVS14 can be mounted to your weapon rail for nighttime directed fire missions.
